![]() First Presbyterian Church is used daily in such a wide variety of ways. We have meetings, prayer groups, Bible lesson classes, and rehearsals on a regular basis. We also have our breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, Musicals, fashion shows, and on and on it goes. All of these things speak to our love of God and of each other. That's why it's always such a pleasure to welcome new families and visitors to our church. We have been praying that God will increase our Children's and Youth programs, and He has been answering our prayers. We have welcomed new children to our classes and they are delightful. We really believe that God is blessing us and it is exciting to see what will happen next. Please continue to pray for God's blessing and direction for our programs. We really enjoyed having our children recite Bible verses in the Sanctuary during services last year and we are continuing that again this year. It's great to have them learn the verses and stand up in front of all of us and recite their verses (who knows - we may have a future orator in our midst). We have begun our Mid-week Children's Devotionals on Wednesdays at 4:00 P.M. We study short Bible messages and then we focus on getting to know each other. After we are better acquainted, I want to do some short character building lessons along with the Bible messages. We are starting to make plans for our summer camps next year. We must sign-up early because Forest Home fills up very quickly. If anyone is interested in camp next summer, please let Sue Headley know as soon as possible.
