"The Perfect Storm"
Hello All,
My apologies. You don't see it here, but I haven't forgotten my weekly "Messenger" article. Like most of the country, I guess I got "Obama Mania" following the long holiday weekend. Were you as glued to your TV as I was? What a historic event! When it was all winding down, it was then that my schedule just exploded and I had to prioritize.
Right now, even as I send this out, I am working on what I think you will find to be an interesting four part sermon series. It begins next week, so keep an eye out for the first article and overviewe you Sunday!

Found: Editor-Publisher to take over The Messenger
After starting and maintaining The Messenger as a new ministry for two years, and helping to augment our church wide communications, Eric Beck is moving on to other challenges. As of Feb. 1, Tim Gray has accepted the call and will step in. Tim has a background in graphic design and we look forward to seeing his creative abilities displayed in this media.

What is better than watching the Superbowl with friends?
Watching the Super Bowl with friends on a very large screen and eating a bunch of great food. On February 1st, at 3pm we will be gathering in MacDonald Hall and watching the Super Bowl together. You are not only welcome, we WANT you there. Crew 731 is providing the drinks and cups. Student Ministries is making popcorn. You bring your favorite appetizer to share.
